Senator Kerry's office is always looking for highly qualified interns to assist the staff in various capacities. They have three sessions: fall, spring and summer (please see information on the fall and spring session below). The senator's office requires all potential interns to fill out an online application (which can be found here) and send in a cover letter, resume, writing sample and letter of recommendation. As we are gearing up for Governor Patrick’s re-election campaign in 2010, we want your help. Interning for the Deval Patrick Committee provides great opportunities to network with numerous people involved in politics, in addition to getting to meet and work for Governor Deval Patrick. Your responsibilities as an intern would include working with directly with voters across the Commonwealth, planning and organizing events, project management, answering phones, data entry, and general administrative duties. Qualities we desire in an intern include: a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, excellent people skills, strong writing ability. Congressman Capuano, Congressman for the eighth district is looking for fall interns. Congressman Capuano serves on various committees including the House Committee of Transportation and Infrastructure, Committee on House Administration and Committee on Financial services. Congressman Capuano represents BU's district in DC and even received an honorary degree from the university in 2009. The opportunity for hands-on experience in a US Representative’s office is invaluable, and college credit can be arranged.
